Archiving makes it harder to find and manage your mail store. The file formats supported for email backup in are PST, EML, EMLX, MBOX, and MSG. All these formats can be imported to popular mail clients like MS Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, Zoho Mail, etc. There’s no need anymore to move older messages to improve Outlook’s performance. The utility supports saving the email data in multiple file formats. However, as we’ve already said, AutoArchive is not necessary or even a good idea with modern Outlook.
